Our emotional health can directly influence how the rest of our body feels and functions. When we are in emotional distress, it lowers our overall quality of life and how we feel day-to-day. Emotional health affects how we make decisions, how we interact with others, and how we respond to events that happen in life. Things like stress, anxious feelings, changes in the weather, and a host of troubling (yet common) emotions can negatively influence our mood. Some studies have even shown a negative correlation between the use of smartphones and mental health. No matter what is distressing us, it is important to find tools and coping methods to help counteract negative emotions—otherwise it can seriously impact our quality of life.
Among many resources, we can use essential oils for emotional health by creating a sense of calmness and wellbeing, or producing an uplifting environment. Every essential oil has its own unique chemical profile, but most oils can be categorised as having either uplifting or calming properties.

Applying essential oils for emotional benefits
When you’re ready to use essential oils for emotional health, there are a few ways to effectively experience the potency and power they have to offer. When you find the oil you want to use, try any of these application methods:
Find what works for you
Remember, essential oils work differently for everyone. Because each oil has such a complex chemical makeup, and because aromas interact with the part of our brain that stores our personal memories and experiences, no two people will experience one essential oil in the same exact way. It is important to remember that an oil that is comforting or uplifting for someone else might not have the same effect on you.
Discover your favorite oils. Try smelling a few oils with your eyes closed to see which ones you really like. By taking in the aroma of the oil, it is easier to discover what really helps you.
Incorporate oils into your personal routine. To utilize the calming, uplifting, grounding, energizing, or comforting effects of essential oils for emotional health, try incorporating your favorite oils into your everyday activities. Essential oils can be used during yoga, as part of your skincare routine, diffused in the car, and nearly any other part of your day you can think of.
Be consistent. Rather than using essential oils sporadically when you want to alter your mood, try using small amounts on a more regular basis. Some people complain that they don’t experience the benefits of essential oils for emotional health, but a one-time application isn’t always a guarantee of a mood change.
Practice other healthy habits. As mentioned, essential oils are just one resource for promoting good emotional health. By adopting other healthy habits in conjunction with essential oil use, you can help to promote better emotional health overall. Things like quality sleep, a healthy diet, regular exercise, and getting time outside in the sun are an important part of feeling emotionally healthy.
Seek extra help. When your quest for an emotionally-balanced life becomes overwhelming, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Reaching out to friends and family and seeking professional help can provide you with extra help on your journey to good emotional health. …To learn more about essential oils and emotional health, listen to the doTERRA Podcast, “Emotional Health with Essential Oils”, or read the doTERRA eBook,

Before dōTERRA I worked with 3 other Network Marketing companies and was TOTALLY fed up of feeling pressured to ‘sell’ products or ‘recruit’ team members with nauseating opportunity videos and spammy messages I was told to send. Voice messages from up-lines everyday, ‘sell sell sell’ So I was unhappy, not making the income I wanted so I quit!
I vowed never to join another, until I literally naturally just ended up in dōTERRA!? My decision, I wasn’t approached about the ‘business opportunity’ all I did was mention to a couple of my mum friends at school that I was tired as I wasn’t sleeping well. More on this later.
One main reason most people are hesitant to join a network marketing company is they simply don’t like the way they are taught to market or think they will have to ‘sell’ products? Not in our team!
So back to my sleep issue. One of the mums, (Sally Anne, my now up line and good friend) said oh I have an essential oil you cloud try to help if you like, I’ll give you a sample? I thanked her and agreed. Later that day she came over to me at school pick up, gave me a tiny bottle, told me it was ‘serenity’ a relaxing blend, to rub it on my hands breathe it in and rub the rest on my feet for a few nights to try and if it didn’t help she would give me another oil to try.
It did help me sleep by the second night I had a much better sleep. She asked me how I got on and I said I would love to get one, she told me of some oils she used around the house and asked if I would be interested in leaning more which I was. After we had had a chat about the oils and she lent me a book about them, I decided I wanted to get Lemon, On Guard, Melaleuca and Frankincense. I was excited and asked how to get them.
Sally Anne told me I could purchase them from the shop online (retail) directly, or I could get a wholesale account for myself with 25% off or we worked out the amount I was about to spend on just 5 oils, I could purchase what was called an enrolment kit (I had purchased enrolment kits with other companies, but I didn’t even realise at the time it was network marketing too) then I would get 4 of the oils I wanted in a kit of 10 had lemon, melaleuca, Frankincense and on guard, PLUS 6 others AND get 25% off the Serenity oil as I would automatically qualify as a wholesale customer for getting the kit! So I went for it.
Sally Anne had never needed to ‘sell’ me anything! I just wanted the oils for their benefits.
Sally Anne introduced me to a lovely lady who had been a cleaner for her and had decided to join her business, she would be hosting a class at a local village hall and would I like to come along, I did it was fun, interactive there was no mention of ‘joining the business’ and no pressure for anyone to buy anything there and then it was so relaxed and everyone just tried the amazing oils!
Later that week, because I wasn’t pressured, persuaded or harassed into joining the company I actually wanted to! So I did!
As above there are no sales parties like some, people are educated only if they want to know more then classes can be arranged and taught.
I totally get it, you don’t want to ask friends and family to host parties for you so that you can widen your warm and cold markets. In the hopes that somebody at said parties will also want to host one or even better join your team.
I’m here to tell you that’s the OLD way of network marketing, We should all do a leap for joy that we’re blessed enough to live in a time where we no long have to cal 100 people that we know and ask them to host a party.
I’ve done that and it’s horrible and awkward. If you’re a network marketing leader that’s teaching that method please stop. With the evolution of technology and resources shouldn’t we also evolve the way we do things?
Welcome to the world of social media marketing! This is a life changer for anyone that wants to get into the network marketing industry as either a full time or on the side of the current business.
If you didn’t realise from my journey story above. The answer is YES you absolutely can. By using the power of a website or social media you can make sales and build a team without ever leaving the comfort of your home. It’s just the time we live in. However if parties are your thing you can do those too.
We don’t sell we help and educate and give people a FREE chance to try before any purchase or sale.
2. Give or post samples and then invite people to learn more if they want to. When it comes to websites or social media you must simply tell people what to do next. Inviting others to ask questions or shop, sign up to a new step or to even join if it feels right is how you go about doing this and making it a true business.
With everything, though, it takes consistency and commitment.

15 mL bottle = 250 drops. A 5 mL bottle = 85 drops. Easy as that! When you buy doTERRA’s CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) Essential Oils you want the oils to last while. It’s an investment in your family’s health but you also want to know exactly how many drops and if it’s worth a chance.
There’s about 170 drops or very approximate rolls in a 10 mL roll-on bottle. This is harder to measure unless you are taking the cap off and not using it as a roll on.
Flies are annoying pests that you probably notice around your Plants, kitchen or sink drains.
Getting rid of flies naturally is fairly easy. Once you disturb their environment and make sure that surfaces are clean and dry, your problem should disappear quite quickly, but they will come back.
Worse still, if you like house plants and growing fruit and vegetables they may even increase in number so how can we keep them at bay effectively?
Flies can quickly become a nuisance in your home and before you know it, you have a large number of flies infesting your property.
A tried and tested method of getting rid of flies, is to make a trap with apple cider vinegar (ACV). Apple cider vinegar makes an effective fly trap because the acetic acid has insecticidal properties. ACV has a sweeter smell than regular vinegar and this lures the drain flies to the trap. For a quicker response add some honey too.
You can also use an essential oil spray to destroy flies naturally and safely. Many essential oils contain insect repellent properties. They are toxic to flies, insects, and can help get rid of ants, but can safely be used around the house and kids.
You can use any of the essential oils used in the essential oil fly spray because they all have proven efficacy against insects. Other great essential oils for getting rid of pesky flies are:
How to use:
All you need to make a spray to get rid of flies for good is a few drops of essential oil, some liquid soap, water, and a spray bottle.

Zendocrine detoxification blend is a fairly new essential oil blend to support the body’s natural ability to rid itself of unwanted substances, cleanse the body of toxins and support healthy liver function, while also purifying and detoxifying systems of the body.
With more people turning to essential oil blends to promote overall health, I wanted to look into the benefits of Zendocrine.
Zendocrine is on of our doTERRA essential oils blend products. This detoxification blend offers a host of benefits, but primarily its uses include:
Essential oil blends are volatile aromatic compounds found in the bark, flowers, roots, seeds, and stems of the plant. What is a volatile aromatic compound? They are small organic molecules changing from a liquid or solid state into a gas; all at room temperature. When volatile aromatic compounds move through the air, they in-turn affect the sensory glands; making essential oil blends ideal for use in aromatherapy.
While doTERRA offers key benefits of Zendocrine, there are additional benefits of essential oil blends. The primary benefits of Zendocrine include:
INGREDIENTS
Zendocrine ingredients are listed in a proprietary blend, including:
Tangerine, as with other citrus fruits, has been studied extensively for its health benefits. The Chemistry Central Journal concluded, “metabolites in Citrus…work synergistically to exhibit anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory properties.”
Rosemary is used in culinary dishes throughout the world, but also offers health benefits. According to the journal Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, “uses of rosemary are antibacterial, antioxidant, improving cognitive deficits, and anti-inflammatory.”
Additionally, the journal Psychiatry Research found “smelling rosemary increases free radical scavenging activity and decreases cortisol levels.”
Geranium is an essential oil studied for its benefits on stress reduction. According to the Journal of Caring Sciences, “Aroma of essential oil of geraniums can effectively reduce [stress]…and can be recommended as a non-invasive anti-[stress] aid.”
Juniper is native to Europe, North and South America. According to the journal International Scholarly Research Notices, juniper has been used in “herbal medicine…as [an] antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory, astringent, and antiseptic.”
Research presented in the journal Antioxidants concluded, “antioxidant research of juniper essential oil provided the existence of several mechanisms which enabled [free] radical scavenging.”
Cilantro is another plant often used in culinary dishes possessing both nutritional and medicinal properties. Based on research presented in the journal Fitoterapia, cilantro offers “anti-inflammatory properties.”
Aside from the claimed benefits of Zendocrine, uses of the essential oil include:
As a part of an aromatic essential oil regimen, users will add Zendocrine to a diffuser of their choice. You’ll add three to four drops of Zendocrine to your diffuser.
Zendocrine can be used topically. You can create a Zendocrine detox bath by adding three or four drops to your bath. Some also add Epson salts as well. An additional topical application of Zendocrine is applying directly to the skin. The company recommends applying one to two drops to a particular area. doTERRA suggests diluting Zendocrine with a carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil) to minimize skin sensitivity.
You’ll add one to two drops of Zendocrine to your citrus drinks, water or tea. doTERRA suggests diluting one drop in four ounces of liquid before adding to a dink.
Instead of focusing on side effects found in Zendocrine blend, I have looked at any potential side effects of Zendocrine ingredients.
One of the potential side effects of using tangerine essential oil is skin reactions. According to the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, “To avoid any possible adverse skin reactions, it is recommended to dilute Citrus oils with a carrier oil before topical use.”
Something often missed regarding side effects from tangerine essential oil is the potential interaction with prescription medication.
While there’s no mention of adverse effects of using rosemary essential oil, there are some positive side effects. According to the journal Scientia Pharmaceutica, in an animal study, mice were exposed to “.5 mL of rosemary for a period of an hour [resulting] in locomotive activity of mice was increased.”
Some users may notice side effects from this particular ingredient. However, according to the Dental Research Journal, research has “not observed any reportable side effects in patients receiving Geranium.”
According to Toxnet Toxicology Data Network, some reported side effects of juniper include “difficulty in breathing, wheezing, and coughing.”, so I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with asthma or respiratory conditions.
Cilantro is generally safe to use. However, according to the Indian Journal of Pharmacology, cilantro may have a “sedative” effect.WARNINGS
There are warning and cautions mentioned on the official website regarding Zendocrine.
You can buy Zendocrine from the official doTERRA store. You’ll spend:

BOTTOM LINE
“Suggest to rub 3-6 drops on to your liver area under your right ribcage before bed. I find it relieves fatigue, helps with digestion and reduced headaches if I stay out too late. it smells a little funky but washes out easily from clothes and bedding.”EDH
“Smells amazing, but with a hint of stink bug, but overall the smell was divine after about ten minutes. I didn’t think that the product did anything for my gallbladder which is the reason for the purchase.”Miajoycat
